As a software developer, you work in small teams to tackle problems as we continue to push technology forward. You will have an enormous opportunity to impact the customer experience, design, architecture, and implementation of a cutting edge used every day, by people you know. We are looking for passionate, hardworking software engineers who have experience building innovative, data driven applications that customers love. We encourage innovation and expect developers to take a high level of ownership throughout the software life cycle.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in designing, coding, testing, and debugging of batch and streaming (real-time) data pipelines.

  • Collaborate with the development team to contribute to the overall codebase.
  • Document code and software features for future reference.
  • Conduct research to support the development of new features or improvements.
  • Engage in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback from team members.
  • Attend team meetings and actively participate in discussions.
  • Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage and track changes in the codebase.
  • Work within an agile development environment, participating in sprints and agile ceremonies.
  • Support senior developers in ongoing projects.
  • Contribute ideas for improving existing processes or developing new featuresWhat It TakesCurrently enrolled in 4-year degree, graduate program in Engineering disciplines (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering)Pursuing a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field familiarity with analytics products, data collection methodologies, data modeling and omni-channel data integrationProficiency with data processing tools, analytics tools and data visualization products including Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Adobe Analytics and similar technologies
    • Familiarity with machine learning environments and exploration tools including Java, Apache Spark, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, SQL, Python, R, and Scala.
    • Hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL, Oracle SQL, and/or Spark SQL.
    • A genuine passion for data & AI
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Accomplished collaborator with a true bias for actionMinimum Qualifications
      • At least 18 years of age
      • Legally authorized to work in the United States
      • Must have graduated within the last 12-months, OR be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program
      • Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for InternshipsEmployer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour.
