Ability KC is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist for the Adult Medical Rehab department. Ability KC brings together Children's Therapeutic Learning Center and the Rehabilitation Institute of Kansas City, with long standing reputations of successfully serving thousands of individuals with disabilities and their families through medical rehabilitation, a therapeutic preschool and employment services. JOB OVERVIEW: Under general direction of the Supervisor performs patient care related tasks. EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school. EXPERIENCE: No experience required.Prior hospital or neuro-rehab experience preferred. One year of pediatric experience preferred if providing services to individuals birth to 13. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Appropriate State license or license eligible, flexibility, good interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing required. Word processing experience preferred.
